This weeks post is a little different. I won’t be posting a review but rather updating what I’ve been working on recently.

I’m thrilled to say that on Tuesday the third issue of Aspects of History magazine was published and it contains not just one but two articles featuring me!

I was privileged to receive an advanced copy of The Red Prince, John of Gaunt Duke of Lancaster written by Helen Carr. My review of the book is available in Aspects of History so I won’t be posting it here but I will say it’s fabulous! The Red Prince published yesterday and I would highly recommend to all history fans to get yourself a copy.

It’s available at all good bookstores but if you really want to treat yourself you can get a signed and dedicated copy from Fox Lane Books

I also had the honour of interviewing the wonderful Anne O’Brien about her current and upcoming works.

Anne is the author of multiple historical fiction works including her latest novel The Queen’s Rival bringing life to women who may otherwise remain in the past. I adore Anne’s work so this was a real privilege especially to gain insight how Anne keeps her focus on her subject and what she is currently working on.

Anne has The Royal Game featuring the Paston family due to be published September 2021 and I cannot wait!
