Cover Reveal: Women’s Lives in the Tudor Era

I am so excited to reveal the cover of my second book, Women’s Lives in the Tudor Era.

My second book is due to be published by the wonderful folks at Pen and Sword on 28 February 2024. That is a while off yet so I was not expecting to note my book available for preorder so soon but the bookshops have beaten me to a big reveal!

So here it is, I love this cover and am so grateful to the designers at Pen and Sword for this creation.

The cover features a portrait of a young woman (Unknown artist, sixteenth century, 1567, Oil on panel, Yale Center for
British Art, Paul Mellon Collection, B1981.25.444) and an image of a festival (Festival at Bermondsey c. 1569

As mentioned, a few bookshops beat me to the reveal and have listed Women’s Lives in the Tudor Era for preorder already. Preorders mean the world to authors so if you would like to preorder below are the sites I am currently aware of that have it listed. They all have my first book, Educating the Tudors available too and if it is not too much to ask, if you have read and enjoyed my first, please consider leaving a review or even a rating. Many use algorithms to advertise and the more ratings the more visibility.

Lastly, I was fortunate enough to appear on the podcast, On the Tudor Trail. Natalie is a wonderful host and you can catch my episode here on YouTube or wherever you listen.

I’d love to hear anyone’s thoughts on the cover or if you will be ordering?

Best wishes to you all on this very rainy August Saturday
